Healing Hearts Widows' Support Foundation, in conjunction with the Police HMO and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), hosted a health insurance sensitization session for the widowed community. The event provided vital information on the benefits of enrolling in the National Health Insurance Scheme and guided participants through the registration process.
The program aimed to ensure widows gain sustainable access to essential medical care, including free consultations, laboratory services, and medication coverage through the NHIS. Participants were sensitized on registration requirements such as passport photographs, NIN numbers, and valid email addresses.
